What you need:

  1. 10 minutes time.
  2. A partner who scans you.
  3. Bright, well-lit room.
  4. Comfortable seating.
  5. A chair with a cushion to put your feet up on and a terry towel as a backdrop.
  6. Your smartphone.
  7. Thin, tight-fitting, colored socks or stockings.

Pay attention to the correct foot position

  1. Put on thin, tight-fitting, colored (not black) socks or stockings.
  2. Put your foot up so that the partner scanning you can easily film your foot area with your smartphone.
  3. Align your foot straight to the Achilles tendon.
  4. Make sure that your foot does not bend to the right or left.
  5. Point your ankle upwards.
    Toes point towards the knee.

3D scan with the brand new Astrivis app

  1. Open the Astriscan app using the individual QR code that appears at checkout.
  2. The app will open in the correct mode. Follow the instructions and start scanning.
  3. Hold your ID or driver’s license card next to the foot of the person being scanned, press the record button, and film the foot with the card for about 5 seconds. You can now put the card away.
  4. Align the mask with the foot and slowly film from different angles around the foot area. Don’t forget the heel!
  5. Stop recording when most of the foot is covered with gray-white dots.
  6. Upload the scan and film the other foot by repeating steps 3 to 6.
